It was the first time since the 1982 and 1983 seasons that the Trojans finished with a perfect conference record (Dakota State finished 14-0 record in both seasons in the former South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference, coached by Dr. Judy Dittman).
Bellevue's seven game winning streak came to an end on Thursday evening, falling to 15-6 overall record and 11-3 NSAA conference record. The Bruins already secured the No. 2 seed for the conference postseason tournament, which starts with the opening round on Tuesday evening.
