General Information:
The Dakota State University Sports Information Department welcomes and appreciates your interest in Dakota State Athletics. We strive to make coverage of the Trojans an exciting and interactive experience for our fans and community. Our Sports Information Department maintains information on all current student-athletes, as well as all historical rosters and achievements and the Athletics department in general.
Communication with Trojans Administration/Coaching/Student-Athlete Policy:
The Dakota State University Sports Information Department office coordinates with legitimate interview requests for Trojan coaches, student-athletes, and administration promptly. Interviews must be arranged through the communications office, a minimum of 48-72 hours (about 3 days) in advance from Monday- Friday during office hours.
Members of the media and public may not contact student-athletes, and student employees directly without approval. The DSU Sports Information Department does not release the phone numbers of student-athletes or student-workers without student permission. Coaches and student-athletes may not be interviewed on the day of a game/event unless approved ahead of time but may do so after the conclusion of an event(s) by contacting a member of the Sports Information Department.
The Dakota State University Sports Information Department Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Media Credentials:
Media credentials are only granted to official sports news outlets, DSU media personnel, and other approved media sources. Please contact the Dakota State University Sports Information department if you are interested in attending at least 24 hours prior to the event's start.

Photography:
Photography credentials are issued to the Madison Daily Leader, approved subsets of Dakota State University and special periodical publications. Flash photography is prohibited, and strobe use must be approved in advanced. All approved photographers must stay behind marked areas and outside of the playing area.
Areas of Concern:
University officials and coaching staff cannot make comments on prospective students until they sign a letter of intent.
The Dakota State University Sports Information Department cannot disclose any health issue relating to a student-athlete due to the HEALTH INSURANCE PORTABILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT OF 1996 (HIPAA).
