MADISON, S.D. – Make sure to check out all the activities and schedule for the upcoming Dakota State Trojan Day homecoming activities this week.

Follow the DSU homecoming events and schedule on Trojan Days Schedule of Events - Dakota State University (dsu.edu), as well as Trojan Day schedule on Trojan Days - Dakota State University (trojansunite.org). 

Don't forget about the #DSURISEUP:  A Day of Giving Back on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on DSU RISEUP.

All Thursday afternoon classes at Dakota State University will be canceled, where Day of Service will be held at 1 p.m.  The Day of Service After Party at the Community Carnival will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the West Trojan Center Lawn.

The 1975-1985 Dakota State All Athlete reunion schedule is set for Friday morning with a picnic at Lake Herman State Park, followed by golf at the Madison Country Club at 12 noon.  There will be a social gathering at Nicky's Restaurant & Lounge on Friday evening at 6 p.m. (REGISTRATION)

Watch the homecoming parade on Saturday at 10 a.m. on Egan Ave.  There are also campus tours available at 11:30 a.m., where you can meet at the Trojan Zone in the Trojan Center.

The Trojan baseball team will be hosting a 9-inning alumni game at Flynn Field right after the parade is completed at approximately 11 a.m.

There will be a tailgate meal at the Trojan Athletics Club parking lot area on Saturday, starting at 12 noon.  The Trojan track and field teams will be hosting a pre-game meal at the Dan Beacom Track before the football contest kicks off at 4 p.m. versus Valley City State (N.D.).  

Tailgate menu includes pork loin sandwich, grilled chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, cookies, and water.  The cost is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and K-12 students, and $5 for kids 5 years old and under.  Join us for a great tailgate meal, proceeds go to track & field scholarships.

Lizzy Hofer will be performing at the tailgate area on Saturday.

The green shaded areas are free parking (general admission).  The red shaded area is event parking for $10 per vehicle spot until filled.  The blue shaded area is the Trojan Athletics Club and sponsors parking (reserved).  The tailgate area, as well as the Lizzy Hofer entertainment, will be held in the blue shaded area.

The Dakota State University Trojan football team will be holding their seniors ceremony at approximately 3:35 p.m.

The 50^th anniversary of the 1973 Dakota State College South Dakota Intercollegiate Football Championship team will be honored during halftime.  They made history by producing an undefeated 5-0 conference record in the program's first ever SDIC championship.
