KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dakota State (S.D.) was listed in the receiving votes (RV) section in all four NAIA Women's Cross Country Top 25 national poll, the third regular season edition of the national poll was announced Thursday afternoon by the national office.
The Trojans registered 25 points to the national poll, sitting at No. 30 ranking of the NAIA's Top 25 national poll. Two other Frontier Conference teams are ranked inside the Top 25, with Montana Tech at No. 17 with 263 points and Carroll (Mont.) at No. 20 with 194 points.
Dakota State competed in the Briar Cliff (Iowa) Open on Oct. 4 and Dordt (Iowa) Holiday Inn Express Classic on Oct. 11.
The Trojans prepare for their final regular season meet on Saturday, Oct. 25 as they travel to Ashland, Neb. DSU runs in the NAIA Blazing Tiger Classic, hosted by Doane (Neb.) and the College of Saint Mary (Neb.).
The Frontier Conference Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 7, at Amend Park in Billings, Mont. The conference cross country meet is hosted by Rocky Mountain (Mont.).
There will be an automatic bid for the team winner to the NAIA National Cross Country National Championships on Friday, Nov. 21. The national meet takes place at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla.
