DSU receives votes recognition in the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Top 25 national poll

Trojans host No. 1 Providence (Mont.) on Halloween, (RV) MSU-Northern Saturday; close regular season in North Dakota next week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dakota State (S.D.) extended their appearance in the NAIA Top 25 national poll for the 14th straight edition, listing in the receiving votes (RV) section of the Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 national poll. The fifth edition of the 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 national poll was announced Wednesday morning.

The Trojans scored 22 points in the national poll, listing at No. 31, despite being ranked No. 24 in the previous national poll on Oct. 15.  DSU is 14-10 overall record and 10-8 record in the Frontier Conference prior to their final two home matches at DSU Fieldhouse this weekend.

Providence (Mont.) is the new No. 1 team in the NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 national poll with 502 points.  The Argos are currently on a 24-match winning streak.  UP is 25-1 overall record and 18-0 record in the Frontier Conference matches.  Dakota State hosts Providence Friday evening at DSU Fieldhouse with a 5:30 p.m. match start time.

MSU-Northern, Montana Tech, and Carroll (Mont.) also received votes on the national poll from the Frontier Conference.  The Trojans host MSU-Northern Saturday afternoon on Seniors Day at 2 p.m.

DSU closes out their regular season at Mayville State (N.D.) next Wednesday and at Valley City State (N.D.) next Saturday.
