MADISON, S.D. – More awards are added to Dakota State women's soccer inaugural season after the conference postseason tournament in Lawrenceville, Ga., on Nov. 7-9.
The Trojans played in their first-ever conference tournament in the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Women's Soccer postseason tournament, advancing to the semifinals round after drawing a tie with Hesston (Kan.) 1-1 and won on penalty kicks.
Two DSU players were listed on the 2025 CAC Conference Women's Soccer All-Tournament team after the conclusion of the championship match between host-team Georgia Gwinnett and Bellevue (Neb.) on Nov. 11.

Nichole Corona and goalkeeper
Sierra Verplancke were selected to the conference's All-Tournament Team.
Corona scored a goal in the quarterfinal round for the Trojans against the Larks. She also registered four shots in the tournament and collected two points. Corona finished the 2025 season with six goals for Dakota State.
Verplancke tallied 24 saves in the conference tournament and blocked the final penalty kick in the quarterfinal round as DSU advanced to the CAC semifinals.
Verplancke finished the season with 93 total saves.
