November 21, 2025

MADISON, S.D. – No. 5 Dakota State (S.D.) exploded offensively from start to finish Friday evening at the DSU Fieldhouse, burying 15 three-pointers and placing five players in double figures to overpower (RV) Providence (Mont.) 98–61 in a Frontier Conference matchup.

The Trojans (5–1 overall, 2–0 Frontier) dominated in every phase—shooting 49.3 percent from the field, winning the rebounding battle 49–36, generating 34 bench points, and building a lead as large as 38 points. Providence (3–2, 0–2 Frontier), who won the Frontier postseason tournament last season, never led in the contest.

On the other end, DSU forced the Argos into difficult looks (7-for-17 field goals shooting) and leveraged active hands to produce early transition opportunities.

Second Quarter Highlights
