MADISON, S.D. – Two Dakota State (S.D.) women's soccer athletes became the first recipients to the Second Team All-Conference list as the Continental Athletic Conference announced their 2025 women's soccer season-ending awards Friday morning.
The awards, selected by voting of league coaches, were announced as this year's postseason championship began Friday. The Trojans open their postseason play as the No. 6 seed, facing the No. 3 seed Hesston (Kan.) at 2 p.m. (Eastern Time)/1 p.m. (Central Time). The tournament continues with the semifinals round on Sunday and the championship match on Tuesday.
Onika Kline was named as the defender position, while
Katie Brown was selected as the forward position.
Kline earned the first ever CAC Defender Player of the Week earlier this season for the Trojans. She played in all 16 matches prior to the conference tournament in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Brown also played in 16 matches at the forward position this season for DSU. She registered two shots, five points, and an assist.
Brown was awarded as the CAC's Champions of Character recipient for Dakota State.
