Maddi Langerock of Dakota State (S.D.) was one of the 11 Frontier Conference athletes to be listed on the 2025 America Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)/NAIA All-Americans, the AVCA announced their women's volleyball All-America teams for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
The All-America was chosen by the NAIA Volleyball All-America Selection Committee. The 2025 class included 42 players – 14 on the first, second and third teams – from 29 schools, and an additional 55 players were honorable mention selections.
Langerock, a senior setter, sparked Dakota State to one of the top offense teams in NAIA. The Trojans ranked No. 3 in the NAIA in kills per set with an average of 14.11 kills per set and No. 8 in assists per set with an average of 12.81 assists per set.
Langerock was second in the Frontier Conference and No. 11 in the NAIA in assists per set with an average of 10.42 assists per set.
She finished the season with 1,125 set assists, 327 digs, 112 kills, 24 blocks, and 19 service aces for Dakota State.
Langerock amassed 3,099 career set assists at DSU, surpassing
Madalyn Groft (3,040 set assists) as the third all-time assists.
She was named to the Frontier Conference All-Conference First Team and AVCA NAIA All-Region First Team last month.
Dakota State finished their 2025 season with an overall record of 16-13. The Trojans also finished in a three-way tie for fourth in the first year of the Frontier Conference with 12-10 record. DSU also received votes recognition in the national poll throughout the year.
