GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Dakota State University Trojan women's 4 x 800-meter relay team produced a new school record for the second time this season Thursday on the first day of the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
The three-day NAIA indoor track & field national meet takes place at Gainesville Sports Commission at Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe. This year is the 45
th annual running of the NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championship.

Kierra Miller,
Presli White, and
Lindsey Roth were placed in the third heat for the Trojans. They finished with a time of 9 minutes, 33.48 seconds, placing sixth in the heat.
They finished 18
th overall in the field and did not advance to the finals. Schneider, Miller, White, and Roth broke the previous school record of 9 minutes, 36.83 seconds, which was set at the South Dakota State D2/NAIA Open on Jan. 31 in Brookings, S.D.
Two Dakota State women's athletes will be in action on the second day of the national meet.
Kiana Mounga is scheduled to compete in the weight throw at 12 p.m. (Eastern Time)/11 a.m. (Central Time).
RayLee Wallis will run in the 400-meter dash semifinals at 1:05 p.m. (ET)/12:05 p.m. (CT).
