MADISON, S.D. – Head coach
Todd Stank announced the inaugural 2025 Dakota State women's soccer schedule Friday. The Trojans will be playing their six home matches against members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference, including a season-high five-match home stand, at The Dan Beacom Track & Field.
DSU plays a pair of scrimmages before starting their regular season action. The Trojans welcome Gillette Community College (Wyo.) on Aug. 15 and visit NCAA Division II newcomer Jamestown (N.D.) on Aug. 20.
History begins here! The Dakota State University Trojan women's soccer team will make its long-awaited program debut as part of their season-high five-match home stand at The Dan Beacom Track & Field. The Trojans open the 2025 season with an electric match-up against in-state rival Mount Marty (S.D.) on Monday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. This marks our inaugural match in program history, and we are making it a night to remember!
There will be a pre-match tailgating at 4 p.m. Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring:

The night also marks the official launch of the 2025-26 Trojan Athletics Club (TAC) season – a perfect occasion to unite the DSU community in support of our newest team. DSU continues their home stand versus Concordia (Neb.) on Aug. 27, Midland (Neb.) on Aug. 30, College of Saint Mary (Neb.) on Sept. 1, and Morningside (Iowa) on Sept. 3.
DSU plays their first road contest at NCAA Division II Southwest Minnesota State on Sept. 7 and travels to Briar Cliff (Iowa) on Sept. 10.
The Trojans close out their home schedule on Sept. 13 versus Northwestern (Iowa).
Dakota State's remaining schedule will be on the road. DSU travels to rival Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) on Sept. 16 and NCAA Division II Black Hills State (S.D.) on Sept. 18.
The Trojans head to Columbia, Mo., for a pair of games, visiting Columbia (Mo.) on Sept. 25 and Stephens (Mo.) on Sept. 27.
Dakota State plays four more road matches during the month of October. DSU heads to Bellevue (Neb.) on Oct. 4, Waldorf (Iowa) on Oct. 8, NCAA Division III Buena Vista (Iowa) on Oct. 14, and closes out their regular season schedule at Dordt (Iowa) on Oct. 22.
The Trojan women's soccer squad is a member of the Continental Athletic Conference (NAIA's independent conference). The six-team conference postseason tournament will be held on Nov. 8, 10, and 12 in Lawrenceville, Ga., hosted by Georgia Gwinnett at Grizzly Soccer Complex.
The conference postseason tournament winner will earn the automatic bid to the NAIA Women's Soccer National Tournament Opening Round on Nov. 20 and 22 at campus sites. The NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship's final site is set for Dec. 1, 4, 6, and 8 at Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex in Pensacola, Fla.
