MADISON, S.D. – The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The list was announced earlier this week Tuesday.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track & field honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Five Dakota State (S.D.) athletes were named to 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field team. All five athletes were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, which will be announced the final team in mid-July.
They are (name – year – hometown – major – events at NAIA national meets/national awards):
- Casey Olson – senior – Fergus Falls, Minn. – professional accountancy – NAIA Outdoor Track & Field All-America javelin
- Amelie Steins – sophomore – Dusseldorf, Germany – integrated biology – NAIA Outdoor Track & Field national qualifier in heptathlon
- Gabriella Peitzmeier – senior – Omaha, Neb. – elementary education – NAIA Outdoor Track & Field national qualifier in hammer throw
- Lindsey Roth – junior – Parkston, S.D. – elementary education – NAIA Indoor Track & Field national qualifier in 4 x 800-meter relay; competed at 2024 NAIA Cross Country National Championships
- Anna Schneider – sophomore – Sioux Falls, S.D. – professional accountancy – NAIA Indoor Track & Field national qualifier in 4 x 800-meter relay; competed at 2024 NAIA Cross Country National Championships
