MADISON, S.D. – The Dakota State University Trojan women's soccer team (0-7-1 overall record) is scheduled to play a pair of road matches in the state of South Dakota this week.
DSU travels to rival Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) (0-1-3 overall record) of the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m. at Pepsi Cola Soccer Complex (5825 Tower Road) in Mitchell, S.D.
The Trojans stay on the road Thursday evening as they visit NCAA Division II Black Hills State (S.D.) (1-1-2 overall record). The match is scheduled for 8 p.m. (Central Time)/7 p.m. (Mountain Time) at Black Hills Sports Complex (Old Highway 14) in Spearfish, S.D.
Trojans close home schedule
- Dakota State closed their home schedule on Sept. 13, falling short to Northwestern (Iowa) 3-2 at Dan Beacom Track & Field Complex. The Trojans were unable to hold on to their 2-1 lead early in the second half, where the Red Raiders went on to score two goals in the second half.
- DSU fell to NCAA Division II Southwest Minnesota State on Sept. 7 and Briar Cliff (Iowa) on Sept. 10 for their first two road contests.
- Dakota State will play their remaining matches on the road on their 2025 schedule, including a conference contest at Bellevue (Neb.) on Oct. 4.

- Opponent context: The Tigers had not won a match this season, despite recording ties in the last three matches. 2. at Black Hills State (S.D.) – Thursday, Sept. 18 (Away)
- Opponent context: The Black Hills State Yellow Jackets are a member of the NCAA Division II and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. BHSU enters Thursday's contest with an overall record of 1-1-2, earning a scoreless tie in their season opener with Minnesota State-Moorhead. The Yellow Jackets earned their first win over Minnesota Crookston 4-1 on Sept. 7. BHSU's most recent matches were held in Kearney, Neb., where they fell to the host-team Nebraska-Kearny 1-0 on Sept. 12 and earned a 0-0 tie with Northwestern Oklahoma State on Sept. 14.
