MADISON, S.D. – (RV) Dakota State (S.D.) delivered a commanding performance Friday night, sweeping Montana Western in three straight sets (25-12, 25-21, 25-17) at the DSU Fieldhouse. The Trojans remained undefeated at home during Frontier Conference play (3-0 record), earning their third straight sweep.
DSU lifted their overall record to 8-3 and 4-2 in the Frontier Conference. Montana Western, who advanced to the NAIA national tournament's quarterfinals last season, fell to 6-7 and 4-2 in league play.

Montana Western steadied in the second set and traded points with the Trojans behind kills from Jordan Olson and Dani Brown. Still, DSU found separation late, closing out the 25-21 set on a kill from
Tristyn Maras. The Trojans then capped the sweep with another efficient third set, hitting .351 as
Macey Wathen and Maras sealed the match with back-to-back kills in the 25-17 decision.

The Bulldogs were held to just 23 kills and a .065 attack percentage. Dani Brown paced Montana Western with six kills, while Megan Hardman dished out 10 assists and served three aces.
