MADISON, S.D – The Dakota State University Trojan volleyball team took part in the 2026 Frontier Conference virtual media day, presented by IMA Financial, this week.  DSU is in their second year of the league.

Head coach Amy Veenhof, who is entering her 18^th season, along with seniors Macey Wathen (middle hitter) and Keira Murdock (setter/right side) took part in the virtual media day with commissioner Dr. Scott Crawford.

Dakota State kicks off their 2026 season next weekend as they compete in the Paradise Volleyball Classic in Hawaii.  The Trojans take on Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) next Friday and Oklahoma Wesleyan and Oregon Tech next Saturday.

The Trojans will have three more non-conference matches before starting the 22-match Frontier Conference schedule.  DSU plays a pair of matches in the Siouxland Invitational on Aug. 22 versus College of Saint Mary (Neb.) and Dordt (Iowa) followed by a home match on Aug. 26 (Wednesday) versus rival Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) at DSU Fieldhouse.

Dakota State continues their home stand on Sept. 4-5 as they open their league play versus Dickinson State (N.D.) and Bismarck State (N.D.), respectively.
