KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches announced Friday the College Team Academic award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.

A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. 

The Dakota State University Trojan women's soccer, under the guidance of Todd Stank, was named to the 2025-26 College Team Academic award after posting a team grade point average of 3.24.

DSU will play in a pair of scrimmages next weekend, visiting Casper Community College in Casper, Wyo., on Saturday, Aug. 15, and Gillette Community College in Gillette, Wyo., on Monday, Aug. 17. 

The Trojans play their season home opener on Saturday versus Hastings (Neb.) on Saturday, Aug. 22.  Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. at Dan Beacom Track & Field.
