Zakk Evers, a Sioux Falls, S.D. native, begins his first year as a graduate assistant baseball coach at Dakota State University. His primary duties consist of coordinating infield development and play, serving as the head coach for development games, and various program operations.
Evers moved from being a four-year member of the Briar Cliff University baseball program as a catcher to joining the coaching staff at Dakota State as a graduate assistant baseball coach.
Prior to being named a graduate assistant coach at Dakota State, Evers served as a head baseball coach in the Sioux Falls Legion Baseball Post 15 organization and assisted with player development for the Sioux Empire Baseball Association (SEBA).
Evers graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management and Business Administration. He is now pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in sports leadership.
