Craig Hertz moves from the field to the sideline after a successful career as a Linebacker for the Trojans. Having experience as a team captain and being an All-Conference linebacker, Hertz is excited in his transition to coaching. He was named the Defensive MVP of the USA Freedom Bowl All-Star game played this past January in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition he was also voted the Defensive MVP for DSU's squad last season, recording 117 tackles, good for the third highest total in a single season. 

Hertz resides in Madison.
