Defensive Line

Ryan Ross is in his first season as the Dakota State University Trojan football assistant coach.  He began his duties at DSU in mid-December 2023.  He will be coaching the defensive line for the Trojans.

Ross came from Briar Cliff (Iowa) where he coached the defensive line for the past two seasons.  He coached two All-Conference selections, as well as the school's career record holder in quarterback sacks and tackles-for-loss.

Ross played college football at Briar Cliff as an offensive lineman for five seasons.  He was a starter for two seasons. 

He received his bachelor's degree in business administration and is currently working on his master's degree in sports management.  He is a native of Sioux City, Iowa.
