The Dakota State University Athletics Department is excited to announce the hiring of Jensen Odegaard as the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. She began her duties in mid-July.
Prior to joining the staff, Odegaard served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead, an Assistant Peak Performance Coach at Allegheny College, and a volunteer Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Southern California. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Originally from North Dakota, Odegaard played collegiate soccer at Minnesota State University-Moorhead before continuing a professional playing career in Spain.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from MSU-Moorhead before completing a Master of Science in strength and conditioning at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
