Before DSU - 52.11 in the 400M, 1:58.80 in the 800M, 4:26.89 in the 1600M, 9:43.77 in the 3200M,  15:27.1 in the 5000M

Burns is a 13-time medalist in both Individual and Relay events during his time with the Philip Scotties. In his final season at Philip, Burns placed 3rd in the 800M, 2nd in the 1600M, and 5th in the 3200M. Burns also aided his teammates not only at the SDHSAA track meet, where they placed 1st in the Class B SMR 1600M, but also at the Nike Outdoor Nationals & USATF U20 Championships in the 4x200M. Burns is also a 4-time medalist at the SDHSAA Class B State Cross Country Meet.
