Corri Morgan enters his first season as Dakota State University softball assistant coach.  He brings in numerous coaching experiences at all levels.  He coached for six years in the NCAA Division II and III levels, including as a pitching coach and defensive coordinator at Milwaukee School of Engineering.  He also had three years coaching experience in international softball (two years as a head coach and one year as an assistant coach).

Morgan was a varsity high school head softball coach for 15 years.  In addition, he was a personal softball pitching coach for 19 years. 

He was a president and head coach of America Softball Association (ASA) club organization for five years.  He was also the president, CFO, and head coach of the ASA softball club for three years.  He had various coaching experience in the ASA levels as major coach and adult softball club manager.

Morgan had been involved in softball administration duties, being the AFA State Director for three years.  He was the director for the ASA adult women's league for numerous years, as well as being the commissioner for the ASA Junior Olympic program for three years.  He was the youth league director for 20 years.

He also officiates in basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball for 35-plus years.  He received his bachelor's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
