Jade Laviolette

Jade Laviolette is entering her first season as Dakota State University softball assistant coach.  She comes from Seward Community College during the fall of 2023 as the pitching coach.

She had coached at Northwood High School for two years and in both of those years, their squads captured the conference championships.

Laviolette, a native of Toledo, Ohio, started her softball career at NCAA Division II Urbana University for three years.  Due to COVID, the university shut down and she transferred to Miami University where she received her bachelor’s degree in humanities.

She was a member of the Miami-Hamilton softball program for two years.  In her fifth year, the team was in the top ten in the USCAA and played in the small College World Series where she was named All-Tournament team.  During her five years in college, she collected academic All-American honors.
