PERSONAL BIO: My name is Rosie Philop and I’m a senior from Fort Collins, Colorado. Back home, I live with my parents and older sister. I am majoring in elementary education. I previously went to Fossil Ridge High School. My sister Gracie graduated from Fort Hays State University where she studied nursing and played softball. As my favorite things to do in Colorado when I’m not in school or playing softball, hiking, swimming in the lakes, and explore the mountains with my dogs. I have an Australian Shepard named S’more and a Pug named Romeo. I really love to do anything outside whether it’s just sitting on the porch eating lunch or going camping with my family. My favorite color is yellow, and my favorite food is any kind of pasta. My hometown is about an hour away from Denver so I also love to go to the Rockies' and Broncos' games with my dad when I can.
The accomplishment I am most proud of is making it to DSU to be a student athlete. In high school, I maintained above a 3.5 GPA and challenged myself by taking some honors and AP classes. I became an all-conference performer for my high school softball team and maintained a batting average above a .400 my senior season. I was also a 3-year Varsity letter winner and helped my team make it to the state tournament every year.
