Ceanna Larson is entering her first year at Dakota State University as the assistant volleyball coach, recruiting coordinator and Junior Varsity Head Coach.

Larson is originally from Camp Pendleton, Calif.  She graduated in May 2013 from Idaho State University with a bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education. Prior coming to Dakota State, Larson was the volleyball program director at her high school alma mater in Idaho Falls, Idaho for the past two and a half years.  Larson was also the first in the southeast Idaho area to start and facilitate a boys’ high school travel league for three consecutive years.

Prior to coaching in southeast Idaho for the past eleven years, Larson took part in playing Junior Olympics’ (JO’s) and was recruited to play for Garden City Community College (GCCC) in Garden City, Kan., where she was a setter, a starter and integral member of the GCCC volleyball team until a knee injury took her out of commission for the remainder of the season.

Larson currently resides in Madison, S.D.
