MADISON, S.D. – Dakota State (S.D.) has tentatively set for eight different regular season indoor track & field meets, followed by a pair of postseason meets on their 2024-25 schedule.  Six of their indoor track & field meets will be held in the state of South Dakota.

Anthony Drealan enters his 11^th season as the Trojan track & field head coach.  He is assisted by associate head coach Alex Glover and assistant coaches Taylor Hauge and D'Artist Williams.

Dakota State begins their 2024-25 season on Dec. 6-7 in the annual South Dakota State Holiday Invitational Multi-Events at Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex (SJAC) in Brookings, S.D.

The second annual NAIA Marathon Classic is scheduled for Dec. 8 at California International Marathon in Sacramento, Calif.  Three Trojan runners competed in the marathon, including returners Taylor Myers and Brooke Beaucaire in last year's marathon meet.

DSU closes out the 2024 portion of the calendar year in the two-day Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) Snow Tiger Invitational on Dec. 13-14.

Dakota State rings in the New Year 2024 as they head to Sioux Center, Iowa, for the Dordt (Iowa) Open on Jan. 11.  The Trojans head to Vermillion, S.D., on the following Saturday on Jan. 18 for the University of South Dakota Invitational.

DSU returns to SJAC for the next two indoor track & field meets.  The Trojans compete in the Jim Emmerich Alumni Invitational on Jan. 25, followed by a two-day SDSU Open on Jan. 31-Feb. 1.

Dakota State wraps up their regular-season schedule with a pair of meets, the Mount Marty (S.D.) Last Chance on Feb. 7 and the NCAA Division I meet, the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational hosted by the University of Nebraska on Feb. 7-8 in Lincoln, Neb. 

The postseason action begins on Feb. 16 in the 2024 North Star Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships at SJAC in Brookings, the final year in the league.

The 2025 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships will be held at Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Fla.  The three-day national meet will be held on Feb. 27 through March 1.  Dakota State was the host for the previous six national indoor track & field national championships (since 2019 and ended in 2024).
