It was the second draw this season for both Trojans (1-12-2 overall record) and the Beavers (4-8-2 overall record).

First-Half Highlights
Dakota State capitalized midway through the opening half when Nichole Corona scored her fifth goal of the season in the 32nd minute. Goalkeeper Chloe Mart stopped all three Beavers' attempts on goal in the first half.

Second-Half Highlights
The Beavers pulled even in the 68th minute when Hailey Chambers found the back of the net unassisted to make it 1–1. Despite the equalizer, Mart and the Trojan defense held firm, preventing any additional scoring opportunities the rest of the way.
