ASHLAND, Neb. – Dakota State (S.D.) excelled in the men's cross-country regular season finale Saturday morning, with six runners clocking a personal record 8K time in the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic at Mahoney State Park. More than 300 runners from over 25 teams completed the race, hosted by Doane (Neb.).
No. 11 ranked Saint Mary (Kan.) won the men's team title with 59 points, followed by No. 4 College of Idaho second with 100 points. Host team No. 15 Doane was third with 109 points.
Dakota State finished as the top Frontier Conference team in the meet, placing 11
th overall with 310 points. The Trojans defeated Bellevue (Neb.), Dickinson State (N.D.), and Montana Western in the meet.
Kalieb Redda of Columbia (Mo.) won the individual title with a time of 24 minutes, 19.39 seconds.
