MADISON, S.D. – Six new career school records were set in the Dakota State University's softball record book, highlighted by senior
Michelle Evdos with four new all-time school records. Junior
Hannah McFarland also established two new all-time school records.
Maycee Bricker and
Gabrielle Ortega-Alves were also included in the DSU softball 'Top 10' school record list during the 2025 season.
Below is the list of athletes that are listed in the DSU softball 'Top 10' single-game, single-season, and career records:
Michelle Evdos (2022-25)
- 326 total bases – all-time leader (previous record held by Brittany Hill with 316 total bases from 2012-15)
- 60 doubles – all-time leader (previous record held by Nicole Stewart with 51 doubles from 2017-20)
- 138 runs batted in (RBIs) – all-time leader (previous record held by Brittany Hill with 128 RBIs from 2012-15)
- 71 walks – all-time leader (previous record held by Jeny Garst with 52 walks from 2003-05)
- 202 hits – 2nd all-time
- 503 at-bats – 3rd all-time
- 96 runs scored – 3rd all-time
- .402 batting average – 4th all-time
- 16 home runs – tied 4th all-time (tied with Xitlali Lopez from 2018-21)
- 8 triples – tied for 7th all-time (tied with five other athletes)
- 173 assists – 9th all-time
Hannah McFarland (2023-present)
- 114 runs scored – all-time leader (previous record held by Mackenzie Sims with 99 career runs scored from 2021-24)
- 65 stolen bases – all-time leader (previous record held by Carrington Entringer – 2022-23 and Lori Olen 2004-07 with 53 stolen bases each)

- 24 stolen bases – tied 5th most single-season
