KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Monday that 210 member institutions were named Champions of Character® Five-Star Award for 2024-25.   The Trojans' new athletics' conference, the Frontier Conference, was also named to the NAIA Champions of Character conference award.

Dakota State (S.D.) received the gold level of the Champions of Character's scorecard.  The Trojans received one of the top score winners, announced by the NAIA.

Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earn points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition, and character promotion.  Institutions earned points based on exceptional student-athlete grade point averages and by having minimal to no ejections during competition throughout the course of the academic year.
