MITCHELL, S.D. – Dakota State (0-8-1 overall record) dropped a non-conference women's soccer match up at the Pepsi Cola Soccer Complex on Tuesday evening, falling 5–0 to Dakota Wesleyan (1-1-3 overall record).
First-Half Summary
The Trojans held off early pressure behind goalkeeper
Chloe Mart, who recorded five first-half saves. However, the Tigers broke through in the 37
th minute when Mikayla Adams scored off an assist from Annika Enevoldsen, giving DWU a 1–0 halftime lead.
Second-Half Summary
Dakota Wesleyan put the game out of reach with four goals in an 11-minute span early in the second half:
