MADISON, S.D. – The Dakota State University Athletics department has announced the high school basketball pairings to the upcoming annual DSU Shootout on Saturday (Jan. 28), at DSU Fieldhouse (1302 N. Washington Ave.).  A total of sixteen (16) teams – 8 girls' teams and 8 boys' teams – are scheduled to compete in the classic.

The contests start at 9 a.m. with Howard girls' taking on Garretson, followed by Howard boys' facing Lakota Tech at 10:30 a.m.  Elk Point-Jefferson plays Pine Ridge in the girls' game at 12 p.m., followed by St. Francis vs. Avon boys' game at 1:30 p.m.

The girls' game between Tri-Valley and Tripp-Delmont/Armour is set for 3 p.m., followed by the boys' game between Corsica-Stickney and Gettysburg at 4:30 p.m.  The final two games feature Gayville-Volin versus Milbank in the girls' game at 6 p.m. and wrap up with the boys' game between Stanley County and Wolsey-Wessington at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for K-12 students.
