MADISON, S.D. – Senior setter
Maddi Langerock of Dakota State (S.D.) was selected for the second time this season as the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women's Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week, the 10
th installment of the weekly honors was announced Monday afternoon by the conference office.
She posted a triple double as a setter for the 24
th ranked Trojans in their 3-1 road victory at Rocky Mountain (Mont.), giving DSU their 10
th conference win of the season for the first time since the 2019 season.
She contributed 40 set assists, 16 digs, and 11 kills (career high) in the match. It was the first time since the 2023 season that a DSU setter registered a triple-double (
Madalyn Groft).
Langerock is second in the Frontier Conference with 10.87 set assists per game (750 total set assists), as well as sixth in the NAIA assists per game.
Prior to Monday's match at (RV) Carroll (Mont.), Langerock racked up 2,724 career set assists at Dakota State. She is currently fifth on the DSU women's volleyball all-time set assists.
Maddi is a business marketing major at Dakota State University.
Dakota State (14-6 overall record, 10-5 Frontier) continues their five-match road trip, visiting Carroll at PE Center in Helena, Mont. Monday at 7 p.m. (Central Time)/6 p.m. (Mountain Time).
The Trojans then will travel south on I-15 in Butte, Mont., for a match with (RV) Montana Tech Wednesday, followed by a match at Montana Western Thursday. Both matches are scheduled to start at 8 p.m. (CT)/7 p.m. (MT).
