DSU finally broke through in
Round 7, earning their first win to make it
6–1. In Round 8,
Ethan clutched a 1v1, tightening the score to
6–2.
Late in the half, DSU regained control:
- Round 11: Xavier delivered a huge 3k, with Mill closing the round for 8–3.
- Round 12: Mill followed with a double kill, ending the half at 8–4.
Second Half (Offense – DSU)
DSU exploded after the side swap:
- Round 13: Xavier came up big again with three kills, securing the pistol (8–5).
- Round 14: DSU pressed the advantage with a flawless round (8–6).
- Round 15: Another clean conversion made it 8–7.
- Round 16: Mill earned a triple kill, tying the match 8–8.
From there, DSU surged ahead:

- Round 18: Kolby posted a triple kill, extending the lead to 8–10.

- Round 20: Kolby dominated with a 4k, making it 8–12.

Round 21, DSU closed out the map
8–13, completing a massive comeback and a commanding second-half sweep.

LATC opened the match by taking the pistol round (
0–1). DSU answered back on their buy in
Round 3, closing the gap to
1–2, then tied it up
2–2 in Round 4. Another strong round put DSU ahead
3–2, but momentum swung hard as LATC secured
Rounds 6 through 9, putting DSU down
3–6.
DSU took a timeout to reset.
The shift in strategy paid off:
- Round 10: A strong site hold brought DSU to 4–6.
- Round 11: Emmanuel stepped up with a double kill, tightening the score to 5–6.
- Round 12: Kolby delivered a triple kill, sending the half into a 6–6 tie.

LATC stole the second-half pistol with a clutch

6–7. In Round 14, LATC's Balloons secured an

DSU struck back:

LATC answered in Round 17, taking the lead
8–9, but DSU roared back in Round 18:

From there, DSU took control closing out with a four round win streak closing the map 13-9.
DSU closed out the matchup with a commanding
2–0 set victory. After a decisive comeback win on Haven in Game 1 and a controlled, momentum-driven finish on Bind in Game 2, DSU proved their adaptability, discipline, and clutch performance across both offense and defense. Their coordinated utility, impactful multi-kill rounds, and strong mid-game adjustments allowed them to outpace LATC throughout the series.
With this 2–0 sweep, DSU leaves the set looking confident, cohesive, and ready for their next challenge.
